Sahar Wahbeh is a founder and General Manager of Skylark International in January 2011.
Sahar began her career in international education as schools’ superintendent and has a wealth of senior leadership experience in the development of educational products and services, with a particular focus on publishing.
In her most recent role before Skylark International, she worked in teaching and national and international schools’ administration in Jordan.
Sahar believes strongly in the need to support the growing number of teachers and communities that are interested in, and benefit from, international education. She is committed to the ongoing development of skylark programs and services worldwide and continuing to improve our offer to schools, their educators, and students.
She has dealt with different educational contexts and professional development modalities in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and has lived in United Kingdom, and Jordan.
Sahar has an master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan and a Higher Diploma in Business Administration from Jordan University.
Ghena was appointed Operation Superintendent in July 2021. She is responsible for developing our relationships with individual clients and schools in Jordan and abroad, ensuring Skylark’s clients are listened to and have the support they need. She manages the organization’s team, customer support, students’ affairs, business development, marketing, and communications.
Ghena previously worked at different institutions from which grabbed her vast experiences, among of these are Amman Private University as an instructor. A social media specialist for Euphidra’s brand cosmetics. Marketing manager at Orient House academy for consulting and training. IT instructor at Arab Community college. Yaghi academy as Admin Assistant and trainer, a position she has held since August 2020.
Ghena has BA in Computer Science from Jordan university in 2012. And a master’s degree in business administration /Marketing from Balqa Applied University.
Nadia Gharaibeh was appointed a Montessori Programs and Diplomas professional development director in June 2013. Nadia is responsible for ensuring our qualification services meet standards of best practice, that every aspect of our Montessori professional development process is delivered to agreed schedules and that our quality standards are fully met. The PD assessment also assist with the development of our qualifications and provides assessment advice to support education and development projects.
Nadia has learned the Montessori methodology of teaching from various reputable institutions among of which Montessori Children’s House, Beech Grove, Indiana. practical internship, Columbus Montessori Center (COMET), Columbus, Ohio. North American Montessori Center (NAMC).
Nadia holds Master of Arts in Education from University of Phoenix in 2005 and bachelor’s degree in biology, Jordan University in 1994.
Dr. Jumana was appointed Director for Diploma in Education at skylark International in March 2020. She is responsible for teacher development, curriculum support, digital innovation, and development, as well as school improvement initiatives more broadly.
Dr. Jumana previously worked for reputable Schools and Academies as a school principal and General Manager with more than ten years of experience in managing and accessing various records and data of schools. She is experienced in conducting staff recruitment according to international standards of accreditation and criteria of professional development. She possesses strong communication and organizational skills, excellent supervisor and motivator, advanced skills in strategic planning and staffing, and excellent knowledge of curriculum development.
Dr. Jumana is a certified family and educational consultant from Boston University, Cambridge International College, International Academy for Training & Development, and International Federation of Training. She holds a bachelor’s degree of Commerce/Economics and statistics from the University of Jordan – 1991. A Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Jordan – 2001. High Diploma in School Administration from University of Jordan – 1999. P.H.D in Educational Psychology from University of Jordan - 2011.
Abigail Eynon joined Skylark International as an instructor of Montessori program in July 2013 and was appointed as program Development in April 2022. She leads the strategic design and development of Skylark Montessori program and qualifications for teachers in the Sultanate of Oman.
Abigail's career has spanned a wide range of educational contexts. Starting as a teacher
worked with children in some capacity since she was a teenager and have been inspired to deepen her understanding of child development and use her knowledge to serve all children, to provide opportunity for them to reach their potential in a holistic way. Abigail is equally interested in seeing this kind of growth in adults, who have influence in the lives of children, such as parents/care givers, and teachers.
Abigail holds Archimedes – 2021 Open Awards Level 3 Forest School Leader, Outdoor first Aid Training for children and adults. North America Montessori Center (NAMC) – 2011. Early Childhood Montessori Diploma (3-6yrs). University of Derby – 2006. HE Diploma Creative and Expressive Therapies. Glyntaf College of Art & Design – 2003. And Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design – Merit.
Kara Williams Murphy joined Skylark International in March 2021 as Curriculum Developer and Instruction Design Team Leader.
Over 25 years of experience as Curriculum and Instruction, ESL / EFL Education Management, Curriculum, and Instruction in education Kara has gained extensive knowledge of the inner workings of curriculum, programs, and educational plans for schools which spanned her career to move from inside the classroom to inside the curriculum to build and develop programs for schools, districts, and governments.
Kara previously worked for the US Embassy in Jordan. Most of her post-graduate experience has been in the MENA region, where she has grown to being a positive instrument in the building of its learners to stand proudly on the global stage, with their international counterparts.
Before joining Skylark, Kara also has worked for Preiss Murphy A&A Education Group as a Chief Operating Officer CAMENA Regional Office. She worked as Curriculum and Development Manager at Corvallis, Oregon, United States from August 2010 – 2017 Amman, Jordan. Her role there was in the acquisition of A&A School Publishers to form Preiss Murphy A&A Education Group. She led oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the regional office, execute Preiss Murphy's business plan according to established business model, ensuring that all objectives are in line with student characteristics, learning styles, developmental stages (both physical and mental), and standards.
Recently with Skylark Kara is also working on developing didactic plan according to Skylark International standards both locally and internationally to lead a team of Character-Building content for school age student’s curriculum, ensuring that the language presented is age and developmentally appropriate. She also leads curriculum designers and instructors to project elements from its inception to its delivery. Kara is also Skylark consultant on objectives and standards of the series as she supervises content, coordinates and implement teacher training on how to teach the curriculum effectively in schools in Jordan and abroad.
Kara has obtained many degrees and certificates among of which BA degree in Liberal Arts Corvallis in 1984 Oregon State University. MA/Ph.D. Curriculum & Instruction in 2005 from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona, United States. And ESL Certification London, England 2006 Eastfield College Mesquite, Texas, United States.
Aisha was appointed English Language Instructor and ESL Program Director in March 2021. Her expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals and mission of the institution relish the challenges of a diverse workload to establish relationships with her superiors, colleagues and customers that are not only effective, but positive.
Aisha has spanned a wide range of expertise among of which teaching, management, translation, and interpretation. She engaged in continuous learning to broaden her knowledge and experience. Her confidence, passionate and enthusiastic match her drive and ambition for personal growth and long-term career. Aisha is a quick learner who absorbs new ideas and communicates clearly and effectively with people from all social & professional backgrounds. She is well-mannered and fully aware of diversity and multicultural issues and flexible to challenges when they arise and at the same time remaining aware of professional roles and boundaries. Before joining Skylark, Aisha has worked as a teacher of English language and as an interpreter at Jordan Court from 2007-2008. There, she provided oral interpretation for court clients (defendant – judge, claimant – judge), verify information from original language either written or oral in order to ensure appropriate interpretation. She also worked at the American ESL Center as a teacher and Office Manager Assistant. Her Education in Graphic Design also opened to her other opportunities such as a free-lance designer and electronic games developer for school age students.
Aisha has TESL Certification from The American ESL Center in 2008, ELTeCS from British Council in 2010, IB Making the PYP Happen in 2010, Queen Rania Teaching Academy Mentor in 2019 and lately Montessori Trainer from Skylark International in 2019.
Aisha basic education is bachelor’s degree, in Mechatronic Engineering in 2006.
Dr. Alabsi joined Skylark International as Educational Leadership Program Leader and Instructor in July 2015. He was appointed Programs & Qualifications Development in February 2020. He leads the strategic design and development of international qualifications for school leaders and supervisors, as well as the educational services in the Region.
Before joining Skylark international Dr. Alabsi has worked at the University of Jordan as a Lecturer of Applying Educational Administration and Samples & Systems in PhD Education. Also worked as Educational Supervisor, General Manager of Dar Al- Thikr Schools- Petro Rabig Complex and Head of Supervisors and Professional Development Manager at Jawatha Schools Saudi Arabi.
Dr. Alabsi completed PhD Degree in Education in 2004– Excellent Average. Master’s degree in Educational Administration – Jordan University in 1995 - Excellent Average and B.A – Classroom Teacher in 1991 – Excellent Average.
Dr. Shammout joined Skylark International as Leadership and Entrepreneurship Program Leader in July 2015 and was appointed Programs & Qualifications Development in February 2021. He leads the strategic design and development of international qualifications for learners aged 18 and above, as well as the education services to governments worldwide.
Dr. Amjad's career has spanned a wide range of expertise among of which Judge up to the year 2003. President of the Arab Bridge Center for Human Rights since 2004. Director of the International Office of Law and Arbitration (legal advice) since 2003. Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights, Royal Decree was issued in 2014. Observer member of the Permanent Committee for Human Rights at the League of Arab States since 2012. Member of the Jordanian Bar Association (Statutory and Sharia lawyer) since 2003. (Member of the Bar’s freedoms and Social Committee for the year 2006). Ambassador of peace in the international organization for peace since 2014. Member of the Arab organization for Human Rights in Cairo since 2012. Member of the Jordanian delegation to discuss human rights report at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in 2009. Legal adviser to the Omani Embassy in Jordan. Trainer in advocacy for human rights and good governance since 2006. Trainer in the promotion of culture of tolerance and dialogue for students at universities and schools since 2007. Preparing training programs to enhance “affiliation and good citizenship” for university students "Hashemite, Balqa", and Amman secondary Schools.
Dr. Amjad holds Bachelor’s in law- 1991 Honorary Doctorate of Humanities- 2011 Honorary Doctorate of the leaders of humanity- 2012 Honorary Doctorate Diploma in International Humanitarian Law from Institute of San Remo- 2010. PhD in International Law- 2012 Master of International Law- 2009.
Richard was appointed Operations Consultant and Director for Skylark International in April 2021. He has worked as an advisor, supervisor, consultant, and director since 2007.
