Established 2011 · Amman, Jordan
More than a decade of advancing education across the Middle East and North Africa — through training, qualifications, and institutional partnership.
Our Story
Skylark International was founded on November 3rd, 2011, and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. From its earliest days, the institution set out to address a genuine need across the region: the professional development of educators, the strengthening of educational institutions, and the delivery of internationally recognized qualifications grounded in rigorous evidence.
Over more than a decade, Skylark has grown from a local training provider into a recognized regional partner — serving schools, ministries, universities, and educational organizations across the Arab World, the Gulf, Egypt, the Levant, North Africa, and Yemen.
Our growth has been steady and intentional, shaped by the needs of the communities we serve and guided by a commitment to quality that has never wavered.
Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. Skylark exists to keep that fire burning — for educators, learners, and the institutions that shape futures.

Shelley's bird of aspiration, creativity, and endless ascent — the symbol behind our name and identity.
Our Name & Identity
The name Skylark is drawn from the well-known British bird, historically celebrated for its symbolic association with creativity, aspiration, and intellectual pursuit. The skylark is a creature that rises — soaring above the ordinary, reaching heights that seem almost impossibly graceful.
Most famously, the skylark appears in the English Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley's celebrated poem "To a Skylark" (1820). In it, Shelley addresses the bird as a symbol of pure, unbounded spirit — a voice that surpasses human expression in its freedom and beauty.
In adopting this symbol, Skylark International embraces a commitment to rising standards, expanding educational horizons, and inspiring educators and learners to reach their fullest potential — within their communities and beyond.
What We Work Toward
Skylark's work is guided by six core institutional objectives that shape every program, partnership, and service we deliver.
We support the integration of internationally recognized curricula while ensuring alignment with and respect for local cultural values and educational traditions.
We prepare and qualify educators to teach and lead effectively in both national and international school environments, across diverse contexts and expectations.
We develop professional qualifications recognized by educational authorities and accreditation bodies across the MENA region and globally.
We strengthen the establishment, development, and accreditation readiness of educational institutions — from conceptualization through operational maturity.
We improve educational quality by aligning institutional practices with rigorous national and international standards for teaching, learning, and governance.
We build strategic partnerships with leading organizations to support educational advancement, research-based practice, and sustainable institutional improvement.
Where We Operate
Skylark International operates across the Middle East and the broader MENA region, maintaining partnerships and delivering services across a wide geographic area. Our regional breadth is matched by our commitment to contextual relevance — we respond to the specific needs, cultures, and educational environments of the communities we serve.
Through strategic collaboration with schools, ministries of education, universities, training centers, and educational NGOs, Skylark has built a presence that is both broad in reach and deep in impact.

We apply systematic planning and assessment procedures to ensure our programs evolve in response to emerging research, feedback, and the changing needs of the region.

We recognize that meaningful education addresses the whole person — intellectual, social, emotional, and ethical. This belief shapes every curriculum and program we develop.
